Ready for another weekend of big Premier League fixtures? We’ve picked out five key Premier League games with solid predictions, including some BTTS tips to create a 10/1 accumulator. Check out our match previews and betting tips below:
West Ham v Southampton Prediction - West Ham to win
Seventeenth place West Ham host bottom of the league Southampton at the London Stadium in what could prove to be an interesting match. The hosts West Ham have managed to average 1.13 points per game while playing at home this season, while the visitors Southampton have only managed to average an underwhelming 0.31 points per game playing away from home so far this season. We don’t necessarily expect West Ham to dominate the game, however we do fancy them leaving with all three points intact.
Everton v Manchester City Prediction - Man City to win
Manchester City head to Goodison Park with confidence, having remained unbeaten against Everton in their last five Premier League meetings. Everton haven’t defeated City in their last eight home matches, while the visitors have taken the majority of points in this fixture. Although City haven’t been as dominant as in previous seasons, we expect them to leave Merseyside with all three points.
Ipswich v Arsenal Prediction - Arsenal to win
Relegation-threatened Ipswich Town welcome second-placed Arsenal to Portman Road in a match that carries significant weight for the visitors’ title ambitions. Arsenal currently trail league leaders Liverpool by thirteen points, making every remaining fixture a must-win if they are to stay in contention for the Premier League crown. The Gunners have been solid on the road, averaging 1.75 points per away game this season. In contrast, Ipswich have struggled at home, earning just 0.44 points per game—a stat that highlights the uphill battle they face against a side pushing for top-flight glory.
Leicester v Liverpool Prediction - Liverpool to win
A prediction here which doesn’t need much of an explanation, Leicester host Liverpool at the King Power Stadium in what could prove to be a routine game for the visitors. The host’s Leicester have only managed to average an underwhelming 0.56 points per game while playing at home this season, while the visitors Liverpool have managed to average a very impressive 2.19 points per game while playing away from home this season, we wouldn’t be surprised if both teams grab a goal, however we only see the three points going one way.
Aston Villa v Newcastle Prediction - BTTS
Seventh-placed Aston Villa, hopeful for European football, host third-placed Newcastle at Villa Park in what promises to be a cracking match. Villa have scored in each of their last fifteen games across all competitions, while Newcastle have found the net in all of their last seven. It’s a tough one to call in terms of a winner, given Villa’s strong run and Newcastle’s excellent form, but we’re confident both sides will find the back of the net.
Brentford v Brighton Prediction - BTTS
Two mid-table sides meet at the Gtech Community Stadium in a fixture that could go either way. Brighton have scored in nine of their last eleven matches in all competitions, while Brentford have scored in six of their last eight. It’s a difficult one to predict in terms of a result, however we do fancy both teams grabbing themselves a goal in this match.
